You have to remember that this video game is a play off the movie Last Samurai which is of course a fiction. The Japanese already were using rifles from the times of the first shogunate, right from the Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hydeyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyas. Of course, when the gatling gun was introduced to Japan everyone was already fighting with rifles. The scene from the Last Samurai or this game never took place in history. Both sides were already using fire arms then.

Will this version of the game solve the loading issue with Windows 8 (the crash after legal screen, right after mouse cursor changes to game cursor)?
