#SonicDash Now Live on the App Store: You Better Run!And just like that, Sonic Dash is here — and now it’s up to you to keep running! Sonic Dash, the all-action infinite running game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch is now live at the App Store for $1.99, AUD$1.99, £1.49, and €1.59! Developed by the fine folks at Hardlight Studios — behind the more vertically inclined hit from last year, Sonic Jump — Sonic Dash features a fully realized 3D Sonic world on mobile and tablet. Weave and jump around hazards, smash enemies, and of course loop the loops at blazing speeds. Here’s some of what the game offers:

Why the devil does it need a front facing camera
I can’t play it on my ipad (not that it would run above 1fps i guess…)

This would be a day one purchase for me (and countless others) on Windows Phone 8! What are the chances of seeing this on that platform?

Are there plans to add more playable characters into future updates? I would enjoy being able to play this game with Blaze.

@Edward@Sega: It is very disappointing to keep getting the same line from Sega each time they release direct-to-iOS. We end up getting games by the time the iOS users are already getting the next one and it is disgusting. I’ve also noticed a stark difference in pricing between the App Store and Google Play. I’ve been a loyal fan of Sega and Sonic for like 20 years and the last decade of feeling ripped off is just continuing to add up.

Can Sega please release Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog II, Sonic the Hedgehog III, and Sonic & Knuckles for all mobile platforms? That includes Windows Phone as well! Think about Sega, I’d throw my money at you today haha.

Port this to the WiiU e-shop and keep the same price OR add more stuff and then put on the Wii U
It can have off TV PLAY and Multi-player with 4 Wiimotes for Local Split screen fun.
OR 5 players the person on the pad can drop obstacles and Players on the wiimote work together to out last the Pad player. This would be really fun for competitive e-shop gamers

Port this to other mobile devices, as well as the 3DS eShop, PS Vita (Playstation Mobile), and Wii U eShop. Heck, while you’re at it, do a PS3 & Xbox 360 version instead.
Oh, forget it! Make Sonic Adventure 2 available on PS Vita and Wii U! PLEASE SEGA, PLEASE!!!!!

This game has amazing quality compared to other ios games. I think the music is a bit weird though. The music should be more like recent sonic games.

I hate to be a tad “spam”-a-tic, but where is the Sonic Boom event information? There seems to be no word yet on the time and place of this year’s event. Anyone hear anything yet?

Looks good. Its about time for the infinite running game. How was Sonic Jump thought of before this? Hoping your next big game is Sonic Generations 2! I REALLY want a Hydrocity and flying battery remake.
