We’ve got a new mini-game up on the website for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games! Find all the snow spirits on the site to unlock rewards. You can find the snow spirits on different pages of our website, so click around to find them all. Once you  have them all, you’ll be able to unlock some cool stuff. What’s there now is just the beginning — we’ll be having more on the way! Once you’ve found all the snow spirits, the “Rewards” button at the top of the site will change from “locked” to clickable.

As we get closer to the October 13th launch of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, we’ve got some more trailers for you! The first is a DS trailer showcasing the ice sports in the game.

In addition to a slew of new screenshots for the DS and Wii versions, the website for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games had a major update this morning.

First, and perhaps of most interest, there is a brand new trailer (the one that I posted here yesterday) along with screenshots for Dream Ski Cross, Dream Snowball Fight, and Dream Alpine on the Wii. DS fans, don’t be sad — there are new screens for Fever Hockey, Blazing Bobsleigh, and Figure Skating.

The characters section has also been updated, and reveals some brand new characters. Team Mario is getting Donkey Kong, Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Daisy. Team Sonic is getting Metal Sonic, Shadow, Silver, and Blaze.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games™ will officially be in stores on October 13th for both Wii™ and Nintendo DS™.  This epic rivalry will be heading to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games to compete in some bone-chilling ice and snow competitions including snowboard cross, alpine skiing, figure skating, bobsleigh and ice hockey.  Players can choose their favorite Mario and Sonic characters, and compete in both single and multiplayer competitive & co-op modes (multi-player co-op mode is only available on Wii).  Whether on the Wii (using the Wii Remote/Nunchuk™ or the Wii Balance Board™) or the Nintendo DS, fans can look forward to an irresistibly fun game packed with events and fan-favorite characters.
