Happy Holidays from Shogun 2 and Renegade OpsThe Holidays are nearly here and soon we’ll all have a spot of time to relax and catch up on all the games we’ve been missing out on because of those pesky work or school responsibilities. Just in time for your gaming vacation – some very special Holiday content from Renegade Ops and Shogun 2 Total War! Renegade OpsTo catch the Holiday items in Renegade Ops, you’ll need to pick up the Coldstrike Pack and be on the PC platform. Riding around in the winter wonderland of the new DLC pack is a familiar friend with 8 tiny reindeer. Say hi the Renegade way (with a hail of bullet fire) and you might be rewarded with a special gift. Thanks Santa (also, no hard feelings, right?). Shogun 2 Total WarCreative Assembly deployed some free Holiday content for the community as a gesture of good will to all men. In it, there’s a new front end screen (this is enabled or disabled by the date of your system clock) and a whole new Christmassy map, packed with treats. Here’s the scoop on the updates and changes, including two fixes: Changelist

Movember Mo Cap UpdateMovember is in full swing, so we thought we’d drop in a pre-holiday update for those tracking our progress. Here in Mo-merica, the moustaches are coming in great and we’re destroying our European counterparts in the donation department – so our moustaches feel doubly good. Part of this event was to not only raise some money for charity, but also to build on a healthy rivalry amongst our two regions. With Mo-merica currently at $2,500, our top Mo Bro Chris F has more money than the entire European team! And they are paying in pounds with a high exchange rate… shameful!
Don’t worry Europe, you can still come back! I mean, it’s not likely and I write the blog and therefore can change history, but even against these odds, there’s still a chance! General Bryant of Renegade OpsGeneral Bryant is outdoing us all in the moustache department, but as a fictional character that commands a group of badass mercs, that’s completely ok! Luckily we’re not competing with this man, else we’d all lose and lose badly! Still more updates to come, we hope you’ve enjoyed this release and keep those donations coming in!

Movember Mo-Cap – Week 2!Movember Day 8! We’re not even midway through the month and we’ve already received over $1,800 in total donations! An excellent first week effort with our own Chris Finch leading the charge with over $300 in total donations. Thanks to everyone who has helped by donating into the Renegade Ops Mo Bros and supporting this charity event! While both teams have grown a collective $1,800+ in donations, SEGA of Momerica is currently has way MO donations (Mo-nations?) than the Euro SEGA Staches. As much as this is for charity, there is a bit of a competition at play between our two groups. So if anyone is thinking of joining in, I recommend sending a few extra coin to the European folks to keep things at least a bit interesting! Donate to the Euro SEGA Staches Why Moustaches?During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts. General Bryant’s Mo CapThroughout the month of Movember, we’re thrilled to have photos of our own General Bryant regrowing his fabulous stache to full mo-glory. If you caught last week’s update, you’ll notice that clean shaven man was in fact the leader of the elite fighting force, the Renegades! Today we’re posting both Day 4 and Day 8 shots of General Bryant, just so you can see the progression! The progression is almost freakish, surely even our own Ken Balough can’t grow this fast… Sample Mo GalleryToday, I’m going to post some photos of my own progression for the enjoyment of the internet. I’ve been tracking my progress on a semi-regular basis across my Mo-Space, as well as my personal Facebook account. Here’s a sample of the shots so far… As you can see we’ve been having some fun with the updates! Definitely check the other updates as they come out and donate to my page! Let it be known that I’m nowhere near General Bryant in growth potential, but what I lack in stache, I make up for in spirit and fun! Mo to Come! We’ve got more Movember content on the way, including more updates from the folks in our offices and our own General Bryant!

Renegade Ops & SEGA Support Movember!Let’s first get this out of the way – everyone looks amazing with a mustache. Not convinced? Disagree? It’s ok, I have irrefutable proof:
Now that you are on my side, filled with mustache envy, I am very happy to announce that SEGA & General Bryant of Renegade Ops are here to support the Movember Charity! About MovemberDuring November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. Men start Movember 1st clean shaven. Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health. At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember. Meet the Renegade Ops Mo BrosMovember is supported by SEGA internationally – we have teams from both Europe, America and our own General Bryant from Renegade Ops joining the ranks! It’s not often you have a character that’s sporting such a fantastic moustache, so we’re honoring General Bryant’s decision to join the charity by calling ourselves the Renegade Ops Mo Bros. Today we’ll meet our captains, but later we’ll meet some of the individuals behind each group, so stay tuned! Renegade Mo-Ops!The original Mo-Bro, General Bryant lead his Renegades to victory against the evil Inferno and did so with a fantastic mustache. Certainly the mark of a gentleman, General Bryant has cleaned up with a full day one shave in support for Movember. General Bryant plans to lead a new team, a team that will grow awareness for men’s health! Sega of Mo-mericaLead by mustache aficionado Ken Balough, known far and wide for his ability to grow a stache like no other. As many of you know, Ken is a Brand Manager here at SEGA of Mo-merica, working on such titles as Renegade Ops, Sonic 4, and Guardian Heroes. Ken is seen here with his best General Bryant impression – we were given a clean photo, but we decided to have a spot of fun on Ken’s behalf! Euro SEGA StachesMike Evans heads up the Euro SEGA Staches, a man who has been with SEGA for several years and heading up the digital marketing group. Though I’ve personally not seen it, I’m told that Mike can grow an amazing mustache, which along with his keen leadership abilities is why he was added as team captain. Deceptively clean in this photo following his day one shave, but we expect good things from Mike in the future! Donate to the Euro SEGA Staches Support Movember & Donate! While we are certainly having fun with this project, we are very thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in the Movember program and hope that our community will stand with us in supporting this charity. We have links to each page listed above and encourage you to donate towards the mustache of your choice. We’ll be updating each week with some additional team members and perhaps some growth photos! Fun stuff all around, looking forward to your feedback and thank you for your support!
