Thwii More SEGA Classics
This month it’s a sequel bonanza (not Bonanza Bros., we’ve already released that one to the Virtual Console. Keep up). We have Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Ecco: The Tides of Time and Golden Axe 2, all for a paltry 800 Wii Points each. Sonic 2, of course, is famous not just for being brilliant, but also because it marked the first appearance of the Blue Blur’s now inseparable sidekick, Miles ‘Tails’ Prower. Ecco: The Tides of Time sees the reappearance of SEGA’s dolphin hero, continuing his battle against the alien Vortex Queen, while Golden Axe 2 offers up more (and even better, I think) classic sidescrolling hack ‘n’ slash action. Get some more information and screenshots on our Virtual Console mini-site.

Great news to see some more SEGA classics being re-released, I have fond memories of these games. I hope these games will make it onto Xbox Live Arcade too, as I don’t own a Wii yet!

Isn’t it great when we can play Yu Suzuki’s classics again!
SEGA should be proud for having a big game developer like him.
SEGA should let him to develop new games for Next Gen consoles,
look how Kojima-san is free at Konami!
SEGA should learn from them …
Suzuki is even bigger than Kojima?
why? he has a life time achievement like HALL OF FAME(which Kojima hasn’t yet)
Suzuki to SEGA was even bigger than Miyamoto to Nintendo.
