SEGA Rally Demo on MarketplaceI am very excited to announce that the demo for SEGA Rally, our truly thrilling and highly anticipated racing game, is available for download on the Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The demo features two quick race tracks taken from the colourful, steep sided Canyon environment and the gloriously muddy and downright dirty Tropical environment. Players will also have the choice of literally tearing up the deformable surfaces in either the Mitsubishi Evo IX FQ3 or the Subaru Impreza STi Spec C type RA. SEGA Rally will be released across Europe for the Xbox Now, Find out more at www.segarally.com

Indeed the deformation technology is amazing!! I managed to snatch 1st place on the first lap and boy you could tell the difference in handling as the car could not hold some of the faster corners, by lap 2 I was back on target taking advantage of the tracks the AI cars had left behind!

28th Sept 2007 is along way away having played the demo on 360!! 10 days to find out what makes this game tick via the demo. I hope your ready for when release day arrives!!
PS. I’ve book the 28th off work. AVIT!!!

PC demo anytime soon ? It gets very irritating that Xbox demos are available long before the other formats.

Okay, well I love the game.. lets start with that.
But my GOD I hate the marketing for this game.. The Sega of America teaser site with the two dumb girls was bad enough.. But then this morning I see the Launch Trailer with all this
‘ITS REALLY IN GAME.. YOU DONT BLIEAVE US DO YOU? NO BUT IT IS NO SRSLY!!’
Who made this? Don’t you think thats a bit to far up your own behind? Compared to PGR4 this isnt exactly the best looking game graphically.
Your lucky its a great game.. becuase that marketing is just shameful.

After a year and a half of checking out internet sites and waiting so long for this game I finally had some relief after playing this totally awesome demo. The developers have really out done themselves with capturing the feel of the game. I almost had tears of joy as I fondly remember my younger days playing the earlier Sega Rally’s. I don’t care what anyone else has to say about other game comparisons, you just can’t beat real game play.

Sega has been one of the most imaginative softwarehouses for the last 2 decades.
they know what a game has to have to be fun and be successful.
And this is why they are one of my favorite game developers to date.
ive only played the psp version and it rocks….
great work sega finaly a decent multi platform game that has a good PSP version
thnx a lot!!!
congratulations for the well executed work!
