This month we have been mostly playing…
When we’re not at work playing games, talking about games, writing about games, thinking about games and making tea, we like nothing more than spending some quality free time with our loved ones and squeezing in some more game playing. But what games have been taking up our time in the past month (much to the annoyance of some of our partners)? Well, this past month I have mostly been playing… - Call of Duty 4 – Simply one of the best multiplayer games on the market, and I will probably still be playing this next month. - Ghost Squad - a brilliant arcade shooter, mindless fun - Wii Sports – The best pack-in game there has ever been. Played this with family and friends over Christmas and had such a great time with it. I even managed to complete a game of bowling with nothing but strikes and spares. - S.W.O.S – What a waste of money that was. I’ve tried time and time again to get a game online but the damn thing keeps locking up. Also, I’m annoyed you can’t take your custom team online. Oh and I’ve just received my 5-disc Blade Runner: The Final Cut Blu-ray from the US so will be spending some time watching that and the extras when I can. The Big Cheese says: - Super Mario Galaxy - Just pure joy, takes me back to the fun I had on Mario 64 - LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga - Another trip to a Galaxy far far away with red bricks and unlockable characters. - Crackdown - I was so surprised that I loved this so much, I now dream of collecting ability orbs - Call of Duty 4 - Multiplayer mayhem of the first degree. - Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - Is this making me fitter? - Assassin’s Creed - I know it’s a little dull, but it is ever so pretty! ArchangelUK says: - Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg – I want a sequel. I want one now. COCK-A-DOODLE DOO! - SONIC The Hedgehog – I’ve now got 45% less hair. - NiGHTS: Journey Of Dreams – Out Friday in the UK, I’m looking forward to demoing it to the main NiGHTS fanbase on Thursday. - Crazy Taxi – My Crazy Taxi announcer impression gets even worse, but my driving gets better. Dave says: - Pro Evo 2008 – Spanked my brother and his mates on Sunday, and am regularly ruining the lunch breaks of Naz, one of our designers - Arkanoid II – Internet broke on Saturday for a bit, back to some old-school Atari block-busting! Mark O’Connell says: - Warhawk – I downloaded this over the weekend for Playstation 3 and am getting quite into it. - Guitar Hero 3 – Having completed it on easy and medium, I am currently attempting to rock on Hard difficulty. I find the key to successfully doing this is to ignore my natural blinking reflex for 3 minute stretches. - SingStar – Another PS3 title and the only one that my wife volunteers to play! If only I could actually sing… - Super Mario Galaxy – I haven’t played this as much as I’d like to, but I’m looking forwards to spending more time with the moustached plumber soon! - Worms Mobile - Many a journey has been shortened thanks to this portable game of Worms!

Pretty good, I like some of your pics.
Yesterday I downloaded a football manager demo and played around with that for about an hour, I know nothing of football I never got into it and I don’t understand it… After that hour of clicking things randomly hoping something would happen I gave up… I still have no idea whats going on in that game but hey, it sells well so it must be good for football fans!
Other then that I’ve been going Sega Mega Drive RETRO this month:
- Wonderboy in Monster world- Why did Sega let this series die, its AWESOME!
- The Lion King- for mega drive STILL TO HARD!
- Shinobi 3: return of the ninja master- I’ve always loved this game and I play it often.
On top of that I’ve been playing some more Medieval 2 total war, Okami and OutRun 2006
great games.
Oh this is kind of off topic but I made some Sega tribute videos recently. They my first ever videos so they are abit dodgey but I thought I’d show you anyway! I hope you like =3

I better pe part of that Nights fanbase.
But for me what I been playing in January so far has been not a lot actualy considering the amount of sealed games in my room!
-I played quite a bit of Super Puzzle Street Fighter as the music just keeps getting me back again and again!
-Rez that I got last week and it has been non stop playing on my dreamcast.
-Grandia 2 and so far I really like it as I am a fan of RPG games.
-Sonic Shuffle and I had quite a lot of fun at it specialy laughing when Dr Robotnik would come in and give a drop a few presents.
-Tingle on my DS which is surprisingly very addictive and makes me laugh a lot! It is all about the rupees after all as even people want payment to chat to you!
-Went back and played some Sonic games on the 1st day of the year as my tradition is to always start off the year with the company of the Hedgehog.
I can’t remember much else and I would be playing Nights right now if it got home already!!

Please spare a thought for those poor wives and girlfriends who have been working hard all week and want a relaxing weekend only to wake up to the sound of full scale war in their living rooms (with the volume on full whack). We now know what it is like to live in a war zone, I think we should form a facebook society called “The Plight of the Call of Duty 4 Widows” This game is seriously messing with our quality time with our men at the weekends! Damn Activision.

War is necessary, it brings about change and innovation. Some of the best inventions and medical breakthroughs were made because of war.
Woman just don’t understand how important it is we play Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms as often as possible… It’s for the good of man kind!

I am sure it must be diffucult to find some quality time when they are always out there figthing in the mdern warfare. For me I can’t really say as I haven’t yet got Call of duty 4 but really want to.
I also forgot to mention how cool Martin’s ninja suit is and you would give Ryu Hayabusa a run for his money mate. ^__^
Also yesterday was quite the journey of my dreams as I got my imported package from SEGA Direct with my Nights Deluxe edition and T shirt. I then managed to find someone kind enough in London to sell me the game and it was a Nights extravaganza from 4 until midnight! I seriously love Nights Journey of Dreams guys and I think it is time to get back to it now! Yesterday I managed to find someone’s garden and spent a good half a hour playing with her.I was also surprised that I could play so well with the wii remote controls and I even got 2 A ranks for Helen’s first level missions.
I am so happy with Nights that I could cry with joyr right now and I can’t wait for the soundtrack to arrive so I can listen to the music on my new ipod.
Just brilliant work as always guys and I am rooting for this game to do extremely well in the charts.
I will stop typing now and go glue myself to the magical game that is Nights.

NiGHTs is cool. but for the love of god if their is a NiGHTS 3 I don’t want NiGHTs or Reala to TALK and I REALLLY don’t want to play as the kids!
Just make more NiGHTs flying levels and more creative bosses and leave the kids out!
Thats all I ask for!
The kids can talk as much as they like… but when you give the Characters that we have grown up with a voice it breaks whats so magic about them. Nintendo are smart to keep their characters not saying anything because then you can make up what you want for their personality and thats much better then being force fed some horrid voice acting and personality.
Please keep that in mind Sega!

Ok, but while men sit there and play their “important” war games they should then understand their womans need to walk out and spend lots of money on shopping to combat the loneliness felt due to their men being engrossed in their “important” war games! All is fair in love and war!
P.S. I am not looking forward the The Club being released next month… I feel more bargain hunting coming on
