We’re Super (Thanks For Asking)We’re friendly with Ninty nowadays so we can talk about the joys of owning a SNES. I was at the family home over the bank holiday weekend collecting it (I’ve been itching for some Link To The Past action) and a suitcase of other stuff when I discovered at the back underneath a copy of Fifa 98 that I owned a Super GameBoy! Surprised? You bet I am. It’s never seen the light of day since purchase. As such I own NO original Game Boy games what so ever, so I’m looking to you o’ wise blog readers to let me know your suggestions for purchases. Hit me with your suggestions!

Tetris!
You can’t beat a bit of Tetris regardless of the handheld or console it’s on. It was weird though only having played it on the older “green screen” Gameboy, to play it on my Advance SP in colour

Hey mate my game boys have all been swiped in a rather bizarre story that I rather not go into details so in my case I only got the games.
Anyway the games you just have to try are:
-Super Mario Land just to see some of the most funny places that Mario goes to.
-This teenage mutant tutrles game that I dont know the name but this french boy borrowed it to me often and it was always a blast on that green screen.
- Donkey Kong games were always my favorite when playing on my game boy pocket.
- Kirby in dreamland is just awesome and I swear still one of my favorite games and the music is catchy.
When you say super though do you mean that big game boy with the green tinted screen?
Have fun mate.

This reminds me of when I bought a Gameboy Advance… I only got it for Gunstar Superheroes and I often forget I even have it.
As for the question… I don’t know… But I’d just sell it if it was me.

If you’re looking for games on the GB you need to go for:
- Link’s Awakening (not the DX one)
- Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (if you played The Legend of the Mystical Ninja on the N64 you’ll love this)
- Kirby’s Dream Land
They should all keep you entertained for a while.

Actually it’s something which was brought up in another forum, the un-sung heroes of the older consoles. Two I will recommend are Wario Land 2, the easy yet fun little game where the only objective is greed, so that is a must have, the other one they mentioned was Megaman but only if it is your thing.
