I've often thought of having the Sonic the Hedgehog title screen tattooed across my back, but seeing as I have to look away whenever there's so much as a needle on telly I think I'll have to give it a miss!

I prefer henna tattoos. You can "dress" a different one every month without the need of taking your skin off :P .

About this one, that man loves Sonic very much, really. However, I've always thought that, to have one tattoo made on you, it's better to look for a more simple design, although that means not to include certain elements which you would love. Iconic or abstract designs look like prettier, while keeping the original "message".

For example, in this case, having a "comic" tatooed on you doesn't look like attractive. It looks like even ugly because of the employed tones (with all my respects). Apart of that, after years, tattoo colors lose much of their bright and they look like when you wash a t-shirt with too hot water.

For the back, I would choose the classic head of Sonic from "Sonic 3D", but re-designed to make it more modern, while keeping the good old looking.

I have not yet been brave enough to get any tattoos but I have always planned to get 'SEGA' quite small on my upper arm.

If I was really into it I was thinking about getting the Dragon and Phenix mirrors from Shenmue on each sholder blade, but I don't think I'll ever be /that/ brave! lol.

I can feel the pain of needles already and it is not even my arm so I will just stay here happily playing the games instead. ;)

It makes me wonder what kind of idea this fellow Sonic fan will have for his back tattoo. I can already imagine the Sol emeralds and the time stones on his other arm along with a full blown Sonic vs Dr Robtnik batlle on his back. :P

But give us more info on the new Sonic games please....

While I will say the guy is crazy, obviously both you and I already know a fellow Sonic fan who has Sonic related tattoos, and unfortunately gave him the idea of getting another across his back at some point.
All else I will say is that guy must have some hardcore faith in Sonic.
