Vancouver 2010 in the SquareCelebrate the start of the Winter Olympics and show off your virtual sporting skills at the same time at Vancouver in the Square, when Trafalgar Square is taken over by a viewing screen, gaming booths and a massive ice sculpture. If you think you’re a pro on the slopes of Chamonix or if you’re a dedicated gamer who gets a kick out of showing your skills, then Vancouver in the Square is your chance to shine. Both Vancouver 2010 and Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic games will be available to play in ten pods at Trafalgar Square over the next 2 days and the best players will be invited to compete against each other in front of thousands as their games are projected onto the outdoors screen. This could be your chance for glory! There’ll also be a giant viewing screen showing highlights of the opening ceremony of the Winter Games in Vancouver, and a four metre high ice sculpture on in the form of the five Olympics rings on show.
