SONIC CHRONICLES™ A RACE TO NAMESONIC CHRONICLES™ A RACE TO NAME SEGA Announce Competition To Name An Enemy Race In Forthcoming RPG
LONDON (19th February, 2008) – SEGA Europe today revealed that they are to allow fans the chance to help name one of the all new enemy races in the highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog RPG adventure, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood™. Developed by industry admired story-telling specialists, BioWare, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood will appear on the Nintendo DS™ system during Autumn 2008.
Between March 3rd and March 14th fans will be able to visit the Sonic City website (www.sonic-city.com) to cast their vote in naming the new race. After the votes have been counted the winner will be announced on March 15th and then appear in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood when the game launches in Autumn 2008. Interesting move, Sega, I salute you guys for this.
Hope there’s a wicked name like Dark Siders, a little too Star Wars, I know. But I would vote for that.

Oh dear… are we sure letting these new age Sonic fans vote on anything Sonic related is a good idea?

I think the “Shadow Beings” is a good name for a game with “Dark” in the title

No I think that sounds a little to Cliche not to mention it sounds like it’s related to the ‘Shadow the Hedgehog’ character and thats just dirty.

I agree, but unless the race has squadrons, like “the shadow hunters” and each squadron is named after a main character, then it would be a good name.

sonic-city.com don’t work, so I write here.
I propose to use the new race – chao in the second stage of evolution.
This chao, which is gradually turning into chaos 0 (from SA).

I agree too…anyway i want to play this game with my favorite character(miles) and see what he can do…i realy want to see this game.
second stage of chao is very good idea…but i prefer new expecific enemies to each character like a other sides of character…match-ups…

hey, has somebody seen this Sonic Chronicles voting thing? I meen, on Sonic City I didn´t found anything. Is there somwhere a link to vote or what?…. I knwo theres enough time but I´m scared that I can´t find the site or I have to register somewehre…..If somebody see this Sonic voting than say something…..Im so exited ^^’

Hey Sega, the link (www.sonic-city.com) isn’t working.
AAUK Replies: Quite possibly as we are having some nagging server issues which are affecting SC (see other Blognik posts) if you find SC is down wait half an hour or so and try again. You’ve still got until the 14th.
