“The Weekend Starts Here” News UpdateReminder: Those coming to Summer of Sonic MUST register otherwise you are likely to be turned away!!! New guest Nigel Kitching (Sonic The Comic) has been confirmed. Those coming to Summer of Sonic MUST register otherwise you are likely to be turned away!!! Repeating helps mental retention.
After everything with Unleashed/Sonic World Adventure it turns out that the game WILL be called Sonic World Adventure in Japan after all.  Hey, I was told it was going to be Unleashed in Japan, but the new Japanese game website shows the SWA logo. (It’s still different to the one I mentioned before). Oh well people can change their minds can’t they? NO that doesn’t mean we’d consider removing the werehog.
The Sonic movie rumour has been doing the rounds again. Guys. Seriously….
And finally from the Summer of Sonic website:
I pity the poor soul who has to make all sixty-ish of them! -_-* Have a good weekend!

Why do names for games always have to be different in Japan? >_>

mmm… there was an rumor of an game called “Sonic Attitude” for NDS, it’s that true?
AAUK: Was that the Sonic Attitude that the rumour mill said was “definately going to appear at E3″? Doesn’t look like it….

To Mephiles: Certain things sound cooler in Japan than they do in the US and Europe. I still call Sonic Riders 2 ‘Shooting Star Story’ because that’s an accurate description of the storyline, but the title sounds dumb to the Western world - plus 0G gives an explanation of the gameplay mechanic and theme.
I guess that the Japanese title is about how Sonic must travel around Earth to get the Chaos Emeralds and place them in the shrines to connect the pieces of the planet. The American and European title, though, is both about the game’s sense of speed (like he’s broken free from his chains) and about his hidden demon form (’it’s always been inside of me’ in the theme tune).
To AAUK: I feel sorry for you. Although I’d love the sheet with all those expressions on.
I enjoy movie rumours. If I ever get into SEGA, I could pitch a few character designs.

This Summer of Sonic thing looks pretty neat.
Hopefully, it will be open to non-UK residents as well.
That would be the perfect weekend, flight from Lisbon to London on August 6th, attending the show on the 8th then heading back home on the 10th or 11th.
Now that would be sweet.

If you did that it would be really cool Carlos just to at least have someone else from Portugal at the event.
