Bits & Planetary PiecesI had a bit of a surprise when I opened my desk drawer this morning, because it was stuffed full of CDs. To be specific it was stuffed full of five Japanese soundtracks for Sonic Unleashed (or Sonic World Adventure as of course the soundtrack labels it)!
This triple disc CD is not openly available outside of Japan, and is I believe a rather hefty fee to get over – probably why I made sure we got some for a competition! As you can see there are five, three will be going into a competition for next week (Euros/Australia only) as I’ve an awful lot of work to do over the next few days including parting the Red Sea amongst some other minor miracles… the fourth is being put aside for something else but the fifth you could quite easily win right now. “How so ArchangelUK?” Its very simple, the current Sonic Facebook poll about your favourite character to play as besides Sonic – you may recall that the best wall posts on the Sonic Facebook describing why they chose Amy/Knuckles/Shadow/Tails/Other will receive a goody bag. Well, the best one of all, who makes the best points or is the most passionate will also receive a copy of Planetary Pieces. How about that then? Again, I’m always stunned by the level of thought that goes into the cover art on CDs produced for Sonic OSTs; the gate fold box is fantastic. Why don’t we have more of this available over here???

Whoop! Mine is getting dispatched from play-asia soon so should be here next week. I hope it doesnt come with a customs fee too to boot.
Did you buy all those from the SEGA Shop or just requests?! I agree that the box does look rather neat and very stylish artwork!Did you request the soundtrack for Phantasy Star Zero as that sounds interesting too with 3 cds!
I would say my favorite to be Tails as he is always trying so hard to help Sonic and prove that he can do his part too.. goes off thinking about his theme ” I want to fly highhhh”
AAUK Sez: We arranged to get them from SOJ as soon as they were off the printers! Cdjapan is another good one – I got my Billy Hatcher and NiGHTS JoD soundtrack from them. If there’s enough demand I’ll see if I can get a few PS0 OSTs sorted out for a competition…

I’m sure some people would be happy breaking the law and downloading pirated versions of the music off torrents or something, but why would they want to?! That cover is amazing, seriously!

If you’re from Portugal, like me. As long as the total order is below 22€(roughly 19.50£) then it won’t likely stop at customs.
I heard they changed that, but I haven’t seen or heard anything official.

Thanks Carlos as you just reminded me about something I read last year about a new break that does raise the limit by a substancial amount! I actualy never got hit by a custom charge but this friend once did when I went with him to get his Trizeal(oh boy how I wish that I had bought it back in the days).Well anyway he got hit by about £10 in charges and this was like 3 years ago.
Well I was born in Portugal but lived in London for most of my live but thanks again for advice mate. Because it’s snowing so much it will now problably take like 2 weeks to arrive anyway. … You better hide those well Kevin because it’s very tempting. …:P
