Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing 360 Demo / Theme Out Now!That’s right the demo for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing has hit the Marketplace! The demo which allows you to play as Sonic or Banjo is available now, please be aware its a hefty chunk at 1GB but nevertheless its your first chance to grab a hold of the game and play it – unless you came to Summer of Sonic 2009 of course! It’ll definitely be your first time to see ’someone who isn’t forgotten’ in action. Don’t worry there’ll be more opportunities to play test the game coming soon, we’ll let you know more about those when we can. But that’s not all! There’s a brand new theme on the 360 as well for you to download at 240 points and because no one EVER seems to actually show what the DLC looks like when they say its out now I’ve arranged for these images so you can see exactly what the dashboard looks like. Handy huh? Friends ListSpotlightSystem SettingsMedia LibraryGame LibraryHandy huh? So there we go, the demo and the theme go download them both now! Now if only we had some other items we could preview in the same way down the line* – oh well… * Lol, inadvertant Crazy Taxi references FTW!

This demo is epic love~ Just played it and the game handles brilliantly. Not only is our NiGHTS in (and yes i did reverse) I actually got 3rd place on my first go which is an achievement since i normaly cant play racers worth poop. This makes a happy TRiPPY. Seriously good game. Deserves some massive praise.
Will make DiGi download the theme when he gets home from work

Looks cool! I’m still on the fence with this game. Any chance the demo will be out on PSN this Thursday?

Robin – It’s good. Really good. It has dodgy American Football style commentary but it plays beautifully. It sits in between a traditional carting game and an arcadey drift-racer. It takes a few races to get used to, but after that it’s one of those ‘just one more race’ kind of games.
No need to let the devs suffer because microsoft enforced a gold exclusivity period

The simple answer is that Microsoft own Rare, hence it was an exclusive for 360 only.
