Note On The ASR 360 DemoHey guys, if you find you’re struggling to achieve victory on the demo there might be a reason for it. Apparently the 360 demo has gone out with the settings set on Advanced, no idea why but apparently you might find that is the case. So if you’ve been blindsided by a KO Boxing Glove on the final bend and are feeling a bit irked, nip into the Game Settings and set it to Basic. Naturally the question I’ve been asked the most is “Is there going to be a PS3 demo coming out?” well as I said in the blog yesterday there will be more opportunities to play test the game coming. *HINT**HINT* Oh and no, other platform demos wouldn’t just have Sonic playable there would be a second character . Edit: Oh yes, the 360 demo is indeed out for Gold Members only at present – but it should be out for Silver Members next week. That setup is actually standard practice for demos (certainly for big titles) on the marketplace.

Hmmmm? Playable at SoS 2010 maybe?!
Thanks for the clarification on the Gold/Silver membership thing. Still wanting to play Aliens vs. Predator on 360, so currently on PC at the moment.
Gonna see if I can grab ASR for PC too…if not, then I’ll be waiting for a little while yet I guess

I don’t know why people are complaining over the difficulty when that’s how it is gonna be like when playing live with other human players. o__O
I rather like it hard, then easy, for my preferences. Makes you more alert.
Oh well, people aren’t gamers like they use to be. Everything must be made simple in order for happiness to proceed.

I noticed that after forcing myself to play and win on the standard setting… But I noticed there was also an ‘expert’ mode? I think the balancing of difficulty might need to be adjusted slightly, as there were some points where I thought I’d give the game a miss if it’s this irritating to win.
Other than that, it was highly novel to hear Ryo say (once winning) “I remember on that day”

Awesome job… but I do have one request:

PLEASE!!!
Thanks to the ASR dev team if they can pull this off. I don’t own a XBox 360, but can borrow it from a friend every so often when he comes over. Still, I’ve got a souped-up gaming computer, and wanna make sure it can play ASR before I buy it. If a PC demo can be created, please do so! Thanks!
