Phantasy Star Zero ships today!Phantasy Star Zero has arrived!
As the game ships across the country, we’re celebrating the launch of PSZ with the announcement of our first big event, new avatars, and a Rappy T-shirt giveaway! Our first PSZ Event: Play with SEGA!Want to team up with the folks at SEGA and run through some dungeons? This is your chance to run with those of us in San Francisco – no matter where you live – and score some sweet Visual Chat (and maybe exclusive items!) at the same time! When: Tuesday, November 17th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Pacific! Who: Anyone with a copy of Phantasy Star Zero! How to join: Be among the first to post your friend code in the comments when we post the Event Blog next Monday! We have room for at least 30 or so people, and might even take that higher if community response is high! New Phantasy Star Zero avatars!
Also to celebrate today’s launch, we’ve added a whole new set of Phantasy Star Zero avatars to the forums! These avatars can be selected in your User CP and instantly applied to your account! Today we’ve added avatars for the following classes and characters: Classes:

Certain fansites, eh? Sounds like PSOW will be getting one. It’s cute but I wouldn’t want to wear one. I can think of someone I would like to wear the it though

D’oh, I’ll be on the road Monday and probably won’t have a computer with internet access, just my DS. Guess I’m going to have to miss this, since I won’t be able to get the details or post my friend code on Monday, unless I end up staying at a hotel with a business center. :<

That shirt is really really awesome, one of the coolest SEGA shirt I have seen ^_^
I am happy that Phantasy Star Zero is finally here, I have been playing the Japanese version for a while and can’t wait to be able to play the English version so I can understand what’s going on in the story.

Oh man me and my buddies have been eagerly awaiting the release and now it’s finally upon us…such a joyous moment. I guess I’m also gonna have to bring my DS into work on the 17th so I can join in the festivities with everyone.

Update: And yes, it is absolutely OK to join in this event, even if you were at the special pre-launch event here in San Fran!

I just played the Phantasy Star Portable 2 demo in Japanese any chance we will see one in English soon? Look really good and don’t know any Japanese so it kinda hard to understand.

OMGosh that’s the cutest shirt ever! Now to figure out how to get one without having to make a fansite. :3
PSZ is awesome so far though. Was a chore to get it yesterday, had to go to 6 stores and none of them had it in stock, so they said… They were all busy with silly CoD4 preorders. The first store I ended up going to was also the last store, and after badgering them enough they opened their new shipment and sure enough. I have myself a copy of PSZ. Totally worth the stress.

Love the shirt, and especially that it’s unbranded. Most people wouldn’t have a clue it’s from Phantasy Star, or even from a game at all. Makes it much more wearable.
